Thirty days to appeal city decisions under new rule

People taking issue with decisions by Louisiana City government will have a month to appeal those decisions.

That’s according to a new rule passed by the five-person Board of Adjustment, the body that hears those appeals.

The rule governs a wide range of decisions, from the considerations of the Historic Preservation Commission to the granting of permits to keep chickens.
