The unsung heroes of behind the scenes in the community were recently shown gratitude.
National Public Safety Telecommunications Week took place from Sunday, April 9, to Saturday, April 15.
“I want to publicly express my gratitude to all public safety communications personnel,” Missouri State Highway Patrol Superintendent Colonel Sandra Karsten said.
“They are an integral part of every law enforcement agency. I also want to commend the patrol’s communications personnel for their professionalism. Every day, out communications employees exemplify out agency’s core values and strengthen the patrol’s tradition of excellence.”
The staff patrolling the frequencies in Louisiana is comprised of Lori Duncan, Dot Smith, Stacey White-Shade and Clayton Alspaw.
