The votes have been added up with the Louisiana R-II School District bond initiative passing, Kathy Smith winning re-election and more of the status quo.
The school bond initiative passed 341-75 with the votes breaking down in this manner: Buffalo E, 105 Yes-18 No; Buffalo C, 60 Yes-17 No; Buffalo B, 64 Yes-14 No; Buffalo D, 94 Yes-18 No; Absentee, 18 Yes-8 No.
“Now it really begins. In preparation for this we sent out published ROPs and have chosen a project manager,” Louisiana Superintendent Dr. Todd Smith said.
The project manager is FSG from St. Louis.
They will be on the campus this week to “come up with a realistic time schedule,” according to Smith.

Lonnie Sutton shows proof of identification to Richard Cottrell before he votes on Tuesday, April 4 at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
