Rose Marie Osborn,66, of Louisiana died July 13 at Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Ill. She was born December 18, 1948 at Washington, MO. to John Henry Thompson, Jr. and Angelina Maurantonio Thompson. On her 28th birthday in 1976 she married James H (Jim) Osborn at Kirkwood, MO. He survives, as does her mother and sister, Patricia Lee and husband Jack of Cuba, MO and her brother John H Thompson III of St. Louis. Additionally, she is survived by three step children and a host of step-grand and step-great-grand children.
Rose was naturally gifted and marvelously skilled in the art of home decorating. Too, she was consummate professional to her careers in medical administration and aviation office management. Above all else – now gentally pressed between the pages of our minds – this vibrant American Beauty Rose ever remains that rare spirit who brightly illuminated and immeasurably enriched the lives of all who know and deeply love her.
She chose cremation and eternal peace scattered to the wind above the picturesque Rio Grand Valley that God created for her at Taos New Mexico.
