Thirty-four artists braved the weather on Saturday, picked up their registration materials at the Elks Lodge in Louisiana, set up their palettes and easels and went to work on their entries in the Golden Hills of Louisiana Plein Air Exhibition.
The participants had from the time they registered to 3:00 p.m. to complete their work.
At the end of a very productive if soggy day, those 34 artists returned to the Elks Lodge to place their works, already matted and framed, in competition.
