The rebuilding of the burned down Pike-Lincoln Technical Center in Eolia could start the first week in May if the weather permits according to Pike County R-III (Clopton) Schools Superintendent Mark Harvey.
The Clopton School Board picked the low bid of just under $3.5 million from Layneco Construction Services, of O’Fallon. Phase one plans call for a new main building to house nursing, computer and technical classes. A second shop will be added to the existing motor vehicle-transportation shop as well.
For the full story and a schematic of the new buildings, see the April 23 edition of the Louisiana Press-Journal.
