A Monroe County man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Pike County Prosecutor Mark Fisher, according to Pike County Court records.

Vincent L. Breyfogle, 48, of Stoutsville, is being held in the Pike County Jail on a $20,000, cash only bond on a charge of tampering with a judicial officer. Breyfogle was apparently upset for being charged with the theft of an ATV from a Bowling Green small engine business, court records show.

Court records indicate Breyfogle allegedly called a suicide hot line and related the threat. The call was traced to northeastern Missouri and he was eventually arrested.
