The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Louisiana License Office to the City of Louisiana. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The City of Louisiana has been the contractor of the Louisiana License Office since 1982. The Louisiana License Office will remain at its current location at 202 S. 3rd Street, Suite 113.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 10,700 transactions were conducted at the Louisiana office, generating $35,617 in agent processing fees.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
