The Louisiana golf team won two matches last week, one on the road and one at its Pike County Country Club home course.
Louisiana dominated the Indians at home on Thursday, April 10 and Van-Far only had three scores that qualified. The Bulldogs shot a collective 191.
The Bulldogs were led by junior Justin Lenz, who shot a 40. Junior Dallas Castagna had a 44, followed by freshman Hunter Feldewerth at 53 and junior Collin Stark at 54.
Freshman Chris Wharton’s 58 and freshman Dominic Bennett’s 63 got them dropped from the field.
The Bulldogs came in second at the Hannibal Quad at Norwoods Golf Course on Tuesday, April 8.
The scores were:
Hannibal-150, Louisiana-193, Bowling Green-214 and South Shelby-221.
Castagna led the Bulldogs with a 39, followed by Lenz with a 43. Stark shot a 53, Feldewerth a 58 and Wharton’s 63 got him dropped.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to compete in the Wright City Invitational at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
