Last Call to quench thirsts in downtown Louisiana

There’s a new watering hole in Louisiana.
Last Call, a new bar located on 317 Georgia St., began welcoming patrons around the Fourth of July and hopes to continue in that fashion.
“I just want people to have fun, relax with no drama,” Owner Lyle Tullock said.
“It’s a nice, clean quiet place to come to where you don’t have to worry about anything.”
Last Call is a way for Tullock to ease into his retirement years.
“It’s something to help Louisiana out downtown and for me to retire on,” he said.
“It’s not so hard on the body and easier on the muscle.”
While this is his first time owning a bar or even bartending, Tullock has experience in a similar field.
“I worked in the restaurant business for a total of eight years in St. Louis,” he said.
Being able to open a storefront on Georgia St. to help bring life back into the downtown area means a little bit more to Tullock in a county way.

Last Call owner Lyle Tullock puts money in the till using a vintage cash register on Friday, July 13.
