The Clopton Lady Hawks basketball sideline will have a new clipboard holder.
Larry Lagemann will retire from coaching in order to focus more on administration duties and his family.
“I’ve thought about it for the last couple of years and looked down the road and thought this might be a good time,” Lagemann said.
He wants to be able to spend time watching his daughter Ashtyn play at John Wood Community College and his son Evan play sports at Clopton as a freshman next year.

Larry Lagemann huddles with his final team, the 2016-17 Lady Hawks, during a season game. Lagemann concludes his coaching career with a 309-188 record.
