Kids in Motion is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Northeast Missouri and will be busy this summer to honor the landmark date.
“We have a great lineup this year. In fact, I think it’s the best yet,” Kids In Motion Project Director Amy Vaughn said.
The Louisiana chapter will be under the direction of Leah Waddell, a Louisiana native and currently a student at Southeast Missouri State University.
“I know that we want to make an impact,” Waddell said.
I’m excited to get started. I love working with kids.”
Some of the unique things Kids in Motion will be doing this year is a combined line dance class with the Bowling Green and Louisiana chapters on Wednesday, June 13 and Thursday, June 28 at Broken Ridge.
Both chapters will also attend a St. Louis Cardinals game against the Miami Marlins on Thursday, June 7.
