Flu season has hit Pike County, and preventative measures can be taken to ward off the viral infection.
Strands of the virus have made their way around town and may not be done yet.
“It’s not slowing down. We still may be getting to the peak,” Director of Quality Risk and Infection Control Prevention Paulette Powelson said.
So far, one strand has been more common than the others.
“I’ve seen more of A than B this year,” Powelson said.
