Posted on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:30 pm

On August 15 over 300 FFA members from around Missouri gathered at the Missouri State Fair for the first annual FFA Food Insecurity Service Day. The day was held in partnership with Missouri Farmers Care and their Drive to Feed Kids Campaign.

Over 50,000 child-friendly meals were packed to help those who are hungry across the state. The Clopton FFA officer team attended and helped the Missouri State Fair Board sell water and gatorade at different stations around the fair.
The FFA had fun working and serving others while getting to enjoy the fair at the same time.

Clopton FFA students who attended the Missouri State Fair Service Day included, front row, from left, Allison Hunter, Madison Horstmeier, Madisyn Parrish and Olivia Brune; back row, from left, Calynn Lockard, Peyton Sambo, Craig McGuire, Parker Edmiston, John Ray and Caitlyn Chandler.
