A new company’s building is early in the cocoon process but will become a butterfly soon.
EnviroVac is currently working out of their building in the industrial park in Louisiana while the building is being prepped to house their equipment and staff.
“We’re in the beginning stages right now so within the next month you’ll see some grading work out here and you’ll see some footings going in,” Senior Project Manager Greg Haug said.
The goal is to have the operation up and running around Thanksgiving.
“We have the equipment ordered and the longest lead item is about 16 weeks so that’s what drives it,” Haug said.

EnviroVac Senior Project Manager Greg Haug highlights the future look of the company’s building on blueprints hanging in his office. The building is located in the former LTC Pharmacy Services building in the Louisiana industrial park. EnviroVac specializes in turning medical waste into fuel for cement kilns. The company is planning on being up and running by Thanksgiving this year.
