The new Pike County Eastern Commissioner is beginning to settle into the job.
Justin Sheppard has enjoyed the challenges presented by his new title.
“So far we’ve been tackling the budget and working on bridge projects,” he said. “Roads and bridges are a big part of what we do.”
The transition into office has been smooth for Sheppard with no big surprises catching him off guard.
“I’m enjoying working with the different committees—the Hwy. 54 Coalition meetings have been good,” Sheppard said.
