Sunday, April 23, The Noix Creek Cemetary Association will hold their annual meeting at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Presbyterian Church on S. 30th Street in Louisiana. Spring Clean-up and a possible fund raiser will be discussed.
Clopton Alumni Choir holds rehearsals on the last Saturday of each month at the Clarksville Christian Church on Highway 79 from 10 a.m. until noon.
Saturday, April 29, a Greenwood Cemetery breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. at the American Legion Post 349. A ceremony will take place where flags are placed in antique metal holders in honor of Veteran’s Day.

The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1387 will host another Young Eagles event on Saturday morning, May 6th. Ever wondered what your neighborhood looks like from the sky? Or maybe you’re curious how airplanes even work. You might even dream about being a pilot. If you’re shaking you’re head “yes” and are between the ages of 8 and 17, then come to the Bowling Green Airport on Saturday, May 6th from 9am to noon and an EAA member volunteer pilot will take you on a free Young Eagles flight. You must have a parent or legal guardian accompany you to the event. In the event of inclement weather or high winds, we will host another event June 3rd .
