Friday, Nov. 17, Hannibal Mark Twain Chapter of the Active and Retired Missouri State Employees (ARMSE) will meet beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Nutrition Center, 219 South Tenth Street in Hannibal. This month’s program will be a presentation on the American Flag by Phil Leatherman. All current and retired State employees are encouraged to attend. Reservations are not required. Saturday, Nov. 18, The Rich Helton Band will be performing at the Pike County Senior Citizens Center at 220 West Adams Street in Pittsfield from 6-8:30 p.m. M ax, Ralph, Melvin and special guests Gary and Carol Bibb will be there also. There will be a special meal served starting at 5:00 p.m. Reca’s roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread, tea and your choice of dessert. Regular concessions including soft serve ice cream will be available also. Door admission and food will be charged separately. Carry outs are available. All ages are welcome. Come join in the fun.
Sunday, Nov. 19, 134th Anniversary Service of the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Louisiana at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Faye Vaughn will deliver the message. Repast will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Everyone is welcome.

Clopton Alumni Choir holds rehearsals on the last Saturday of each month at the Clarksville Christian Church on Highway 79 from 10 a.m. until noon.
Saturday, Nov. 25, Clarksville Community Chamber is hosting a “Coffee and Donuts” for the local businesses for Small Business Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church. Come for food and lots of goodies for the shop.
