4-H Day at Silver Dollar City will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 30, the Clarksville Riverfront Park hosts a Fish Fry at the corner of Hwy 79 and Howard Street from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 30, Pike County Senior Citizens Center at 220 West Adams Street in Pittsfield request you to come join them for country music by Tim and Tammie Welch from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Concessions start at 5:00p.m. with grilled tenderloin sandwich as the featured item along with hot dogs, desserts and soft serve ice cream. Carry outs available.
National 4-H Week will be held the first week in October. The theme for this year will be “Grow True Leaders”.

Monday, Oct. 2, Pike-Linn Quilters Work Day beginning at 9 a.m., Mary Queen of Peace Church. Everyone is invited. Bring a lunch.
• Wednesday, Oct. 4, Pike County Chapter NSDAR will meet at 5 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on S. 8th St. in Louisiana. There will be a program about Louisiana’s Bicentennial Celebration. All members are urged to attend and visitors are welcome.

Troop 156 meets every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Scout House in Sunset Park. All boys ages 11 to 18 years are welcome to come and join.
