The Northeast Missouri Clergy Coalition plans to hold its Annual Fall Banquet on Saturday Oct. 4 at Clopton High School at 5:30 p.m.
St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eolia, will have its annual Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 5. Services will be at 11 a.m. with a basket dinner after. St. John’s is located on Route H about a half mile from Route D.
Harvest Concert sponsored by Bowling Green Convention and Visitor’s Bureau will be held Sunday, Oct. 5 from 3-5 p.m. in the Welcome Park (between Wal-Mart and Hardees) in Bowling Green. Bring lawn chairs. No coolers; concessions will be available. Rain cancels.
A Red Cross Blood Drive will be held Oct. 7 from 1-6 p.m. at the Elks Lodge located at 120 N. 5th St. in Louisiana. The event is co-sponsored by Elmwood Presbyterian Women and Elks Lodge No. 791. Homemade soup, sandwiches, cookies and drink will be served to donors.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will sponsor its third annual Rosary Rally in honor of “Our Lady of Fatima” on Saturday, Oct. 11 at noon on the front lawn of the church.
The event will be held “rain or shine.”

Clarksville Applefest will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11-12. Events include a parade, baby show, fiddlers contest, apple baking contest, art show, craft show, quilters, apple products and lots of food.
PLTC Skills USA Chapter will be having a Chicken Wing Competition Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Clarksville Boat Club from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. during Applefest.
The Clarksville Memorial VFW Post will be selling BBQ pork steak, hamburger, pork burger and hot dog plates and sandwiches on Saturday Oct. 11 and Sunday Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. until ???. Plates consist of baked beans, potato salad, dessert and drink. Junior Girls will be selling raffle tickets for a gift card.
Clarksville United Methodist Church will participate in Applefest and serve a fried chicken dinner (2 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, slaw, hot rolls, home-made dessert and drink) on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Carry outs available.
