The Louisiana Public Library will host a story time plus celebration for children ages 3-6 on Saturday,  April 18 from 10-11 a.m. at the Louisiana Library.

Clarksville city wide clean up
Apr 18 @ 9:00 pm – 10:00 pm

City wide clean up in Clarksville will be held Saturday, April 18. A dumpster will be placed across from the Post Office for non-hazardous trash.

Turkey Shoot @ Ashburn Fire Station
Apr 19 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Ashburn Rural Fire Dept. will hold a turkey shoot on Sunday, April 19 at noon at the Ashburn Fire station. Ammunition furnished; food and drinks will be available; no alcohol allowed. For more information, contact Bill Bateman at 573-629-8459 or Bernice Weaver at 573-754-5607.

Pike-Lin Quilters meeting @ Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church

PCMH Board of Trustees meeting @ Second floor conference room at PCMH

Pike County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, April 22 at noon in the second floor conference room of Pike County Memorial Hospital.

Youth Dance (ages 11-15) @ Clarksville Memorial VFW Post home

The Clarksville VFW will host a youth dance for ages 11-15 at the Clarksville VFW  Friday, April 24 from 6-10 p.m. Youth must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. Food will be provided by Ladies Auxiliary. There  will be an admission fee. Sign up sheets to join the youth group, which will start in July, will be available at the dance. Conceal to Carry weapon classes

Conceal to Carry weapon classes will be held April 11, 18 and 25 at the Clarksville VFW beginning at 8 a.m. each day. Ben Merkling Jr., NRA certified pistol instructor will be the instructor. For information, Merkling at 636-358-0577.

BTUF Cookout/BBQ fund raiser @ Stark Bro's Garden Center

Buffalo Township United Fund (BTUF) will hold a cookout/BBQ fund raiser on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Stark Bro’s Garden Center. Homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee will be available from 9-11 a.m. and pork burgers, 1/4 lb. hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Book Signing @ Clarksville Library

Clarksville Library will host a book signing Saturday, April 25 from 2-4 p.m. David J. Henderson, PhD. will be signing his book, “Why America is Sick, but you don’t have to be” as part of the Clarksville Authors series at the Clarksville Library at 401 South Second St. in Clarksville.
