33rd Annual Louisiana Colorfest – Louisiana’s annual autumn celebration features activities such as a parade, talent show, car show, lip-sync contest, motorcycle show, baby show, arts & crafts, and a Kid’s Corner. Activities may vary. There will be plenty of food, beverages, entertainment, and vendors on the grounds.
Troop 156 meets every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Scout House in Sunset Park. All boys ages 11 to 18 years are welcome to come and join.

Saturday, Oct. 28, City of Paynesville Pre-Halloween Fest from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 29, Frankford Rural Fire Department will host its 7th annual Ham & Bean lunch at the Frankford Christian Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will include cornbread, home made dessert, tea and coffee. A good will offering will be accepted to offset expenses.
Sunday, Oct. 29, Turkey shoot at the Whiteside School House in Whiteside, Mo. at 12:00 p.m. Moving and Still Targets. Lunch available, public is welcome.
