Clopton is in the process of training a substitute bus driver, according to Superintendent Mark Harvey.
Clopton has been struggling to find more bus drivers and keep their bus routes balanced, and concerns about these issues were expressed by the public at last month’s school board meeting.
In addition to the new driver, Harvey also told the Louisiana Press-Journal that modifications have been made to the existing routes in order to balance the afternoon routes as well.
