To celebrate Grandparent’s Day, Clopton kindergarteners sang a song for their grandparents, created crafts for them and played with them outside on the playground Tuesday, Sept. 11.
One game produced some unexpected answers when the kids tried to correctly answer questions about their grandparents. One child guessed his grandma to be 18 and his grandpa 85, while other kids were surprised to learn their grandparents had names other than “Grandpa” and “Grandma.”
The activities started after lunch and lasted for a couple hours, with 20 students and 38 guests participating.
