Bulldogs track teams excel at Monroe City

The Louisiana Bulldogs were highly competitive on Thursday, March 29, at the track meet at Monroe City.
Raelee Burse won the high jump with a mark of 4-06.00, took second place in the triple jump with a mark of 29-04.75 and took third in the 100 M with a time of 14.56.
Kamara Combs made the podium in both hurdle events, taking second in the 300 M hurdles (57.12) and third in the 100 M hurdles (18.81).
Michelle Watts was second in the shot put with a mark of 33-03.50.
Faith Rule took second place in the pole vault with a mark of 8-00.00 and finished fifth in the 200 M with a time of 30.79.
The Bulldogs had a pair of top 10 finishers in the boys 100 M with Dalton Oberhaus taking third place with a time of 12.26 and Brandon Chatman taking 10th place with a time of 13.25.
Oberhaus also finished fourth in the 200 M with a time of 24.62.
Also in the 100 M, Ryan Murray finished 14th (13.43) and Jacob Gray finished 16th (14.09).
Chad Bowen finished second in the 300 M hurdles with a time of 48.40 and eighth in the 110 M hurdles (21.35).
