The Bulldog track teams are off to an amazing start. The boys have been nearly untouchable as they are undefeated at 5-0. The girls have registered one win, but they are finishing in the top three consistently. Both teams are looking to build on their success going into the conference and district meets.
The boys are off to the best start in recent memory. It may be a surprise to some, but the expectations for the team have been high since day one. Freshman phenoms Abricion Ivey and Gabe Henderson have stepped up big this year. Brycen Cropp has also been a breakout runner this year for the Bulldogs in the 100m and 300m hurdles. The Bulldogs look to seniors Tristan Castiglia and Daylon Greene for leadership. Winning conference, district and sectionals has been the goals for the Bulldogs from the start. The sky is the limit for this group of young men.
The Lady Bulldog track team is off to a promising start as well. They may only have one victory, but they are right there in every meet. They are led by the Blackwell sisters, Batrice and Denise. The sisters are relied on heavily by the team for points and determination. The goals for the girls are nothing short of a conference and a district title. It is just a matter of time before the girls team puts it all together and comes away with victories.
