One of the men involved in the destruction of 21 different vehicles and the theft of at least 10 American flags has had his bond reduced by a Pike County Judge.
According to electronic court records, Timothy C. Elder, 17, faces nine counts of the Class D felony of stealing and one count of Class E felony of Property Damage.
If found guilty and given the maximum sentence, Elder could be sentenced to up to 67 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
He could also be sentenced to 10 years in the county jail or a monetary fine.
Elder and unidentified juvenile were taken into custody after law enforcement officials in Louisiana and the rest of the county began to investigate complaints of property damage in the eastern Pike County city.
Officials say that residents reported incidents of property damage on Boyd Drive, South Carolina Street, Tennessee Street, N. B Street, Georgia Street, Nebraska Street, Kentucky Street, South 26th Street, Peacock Drive, Forrest Hill, and Jackson.
