Pike County Center for Women’s Ministries will be starting classes on Making Peace with Your Past by Tim Sledge beginning May 7. This women’s only class will be Thursdays at 6 p.m. for 11 weeks at Pike County Health and Hospice Conference Room. The class is limited in size and there is a workbook fee. Memorial Day services will be held at 10 a.m. inside the American Legion, 420 Kelly Lane, Louisiana. A meal will be served after the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. All veterans and their families are encouraged to attend.
