    1. Making Peace with Your Past classes @ Pike County Health and Hospice Conference Room
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

      Pike County Center for Women’s Ministries will be starting classes on Making Peace with Your Past by Tim Sledge beginning May 7. This women’s only class will be Thursdays at 6 p.m.  for 11 weeks at Pike County Health and Hospice Conference Room.  The class is limited in size and there is a workbook fee.     3. Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment @ Pittsfield City Lake
      9:00 am – 4:00 pm

      Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7 at Pittsfield City Lake in Pittsfield, Ill. Union and Confederate artillery, cavalry, infantry  naval encampments. Replica ironclad Virginia. Period crafts, children’s games, vendors, food and   music.       Louisiana Elks Lodge 791, 120 N. 5th St., will hold its George Keith Annual Chicken BBQ  at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. The meal will consist of BBQ chicken, slaw and baked beans. John Miller, St. Louis, volunteer consultant for the colony and member of the Purple Martin Conservation Association, will speak at the Clarksville Riverfront Park from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 6.
