      The Southern Pike County Interchurch Council will hold its Annual Songfest on Sunday Oct. 26 at the Clarksville Christian Church at 2 p.m. Choirs and soloists are invited. Refreshments will be served after the program.

      Louisiana Fire Department’s Haunted House  fundraiser will be held Oct. 30 thru Nov. 1 beginning at 6 p.m. each day at the Elks Lodge, 120 N. 5th St. in Louisiana. On Halloween the Elks Lodge will provide a free chili dog for participants that make it through the Haunted House.  Sponsored by the Louisiana Elks Lodge 791.

    1. “Trunk or Treat” in Frankford @ First Christian Church
      5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

      The Frankford First Christian Church will be hosting it’s Fourth Annual “Trunk or Treat” on Oct. 31 from 5-7:30 p.m. at North Main Cross between the Frankford Park and the church.

      The trunks of vehicles will be decorated in a child friendly Halloween Theme and filled with goodies for the “Trick or Treaters.” this year hot chocolate will be served in the lower level of the church.

      6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

      “Revive Our Land” will be presented at First Christian Church, 517 South Carolina Street in Louisiana on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. There will be music, praise, prayer, and proclamation for revival. Duke DuVall will be bringing the message. For more details call 573-754-5557.

      5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

      The annual BONCL Chili Supper will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 5-8 p.m in the BONCL school gymnasium. Chili and vegetable soup will be available as well as sandwiches, homemade desserts and drinks. A silent auction will be held along with bingo, a cake walk and many other games. The public is invited to attend this community event. Carry out meals will be available.

      Louisiana Area Historical Museum annual fall dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 13 at American Legion Post 370, 420 Kelly Lane, beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are available from Museum Board members or at the Louisiana Public Library.
