    They didn’t win medals but three Clopton cross country team members got to run in the state Class 1 meet on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Oak Hills Golf Center in Jefferson City. Junior Luke Adams placed 90th with a time of 19 minutes and 28 seconds. Senior Daniel Reading placed 113th with a time of 19:48. Freshman Katelynn Hammett placed 121st with a time of 25:52.     Elsberry High sophomore Brianna Dickens made history this year as the first female student to play on the Clopton/Elsberry IndianHawks football team. Injuries have hampered her playing time on the offensive and defensive lines but she remains undeterred.
