Are you well stocked with flea control for the winter months? You may be thinking with the arrival of cold weather that the fleas are gone. That may not be true. If you have flea eggs or pupae left in your environment, those fleas are just waiting for a unseasonal warm day to hatch and start your flea problem all over.
The best way to prevent a flea infestation is to keep your pets, all of them — inside and outside ones — on flea control year round. Products, such as Frontline Plus, work best when applied monthly to all pets. Many times owners put off using the products until they actually see fleas. At that point your environment is already infested. It can take months to get rid of all the fleas.
