The Pike County OATS meeting was held on Sept. 25 at the Louisiana Pike Senior Center. The next meeting will be at the Bowling Green Hi-Rise.
At the September meeting, there were 20 people in attendance. The meeting opened with the Pledege of Allegiance followed by the Lord’s Prayer by chairperson Donna McMahan. Secretary Dora Sapp read the August minutes.
Audrey Seher, treasurer, gave the current financial report. Loretta Brown, group travel, gave her financial report and the report on spending for the Branson trip for Oct. 17 through Oct. 19.
The chairperson, plus two more people, will pull candidates for next year’s officer. The Christmas party will be Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Pike County Senior Center. The planning committee will report information at the October meeting.
Pike County OATS will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets at the Clarksville Applefest. They will also be selling tickets for a $100 gas card. There will also be free gifts.
