Scholarships totaling $3,000 was awarded by the Louisiana Alumni and Friends Association to four recent graduates of Louisiana High School.
This brings the total value of scholarships awarded to LHS graduates by the association to $9,000 since it was formed in 2008.
This year’s recipients include:
• Kelsey Henderson, who plans to attend Moberly Area Community College (MACC) in Columbia on A+ scholarship, then transfer and study nursing administration.
• Robyn Johnson, who plans to attend Lindenwood University and major in business administration.
• Derek Keely, who plans to attend University of Missouri of Science & Technology in Rolla and study engineering in mining.
• Jennifer Radcliff, who plans to attend MACC in Columbia on A+ scholarship, then transfer and study psychology.
Braxton Wallace was the recipient of this year’s Ellen Morrow Memorial Math Scholarship, administered by the association and in the amount of $1,000. She plans to attend West Valley Community College in California and study history.
The association thanks everyone who has made donations to our dedicated scholarship fund. If it’s a memorial donation, please note in whose memory it’s being made and to whom along with the address where the acknowledgement should be mailed.
