Louisiana’s ninth annual citywide yard sale is set for Saturday, Aug. 3, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
This is an excellent opportunity for all residents to clean out attics, basements, closets and garages. Each year the participation grows, drawing a large gathering of customers from a 25-mile radius looking for bargains and treasures.
The Louisana Chamber of Commerce sponsors this event and anyone in Louisiana can participate with a nominal fee and a completed form which can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office, 304 Georgia (now located inside the Louisiana Area Historical Museum), between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, any Abel’s Quik Shop in Louisiana, or the Louisiana Press-Journal office, or visit us online at www.louisiana-mo.com.
To be included on a sales location map, return the completed form with the $5 fee to the chamber office no later than Friday, July 26. Those who decide to have a sale after the deadline of July 26 may still sign up, but cannot be assured of inclusion on the map. Paid participants will be supplied with balloons and a yard sale sign.
For more information call the chamber office at 573-754-5921.
