The Farmer’s Market will open on May 11 at the riverfront in Louisiana.
The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce invites local growers to participate. Just bring your locally grown fruits and vegetables, flowers, eggs (with an egg license), honey, and baked goods (please make sure that they are properly tagged).
You can also sell items such as soaps, candles, needlework, jewelry, etc. Remember all items for sale must be made or grown by the vendors. Items cannot be offered for resale.
The market will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday (weather permitting). There will also be a Wednesday evening market from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
There are no contracts. You may come as often as you wish and have items to sell. No entry fee will be charged for the Wednesday market. A $5 fee will be charged for the Saturday market.
