The Pike County 4-H Springfest held March 3 was a great success.
The support of Pike County residents helped the Pike County 4-H Council meet its fundraising goal.
The event served 810 people. Winners of the drawings were: Lisa Barnes, $100 Wal-Mart card; Scott Meyer, digital camera; Amber Elliott, quilt; Connie Street, $100; and Vicki Lagemann, tablet computer.
Top salesmen were recognized for their efforts. They were Megan Harrelson, Calumet 4-H Club, sold $360 worth of advance tickets; second high was Taylor and Madison Akers, Calumet 4-H Club, sold $252 worth of tickets; third was Ashlee and Abbie Waddell, Peppy Circle 4-H Club, sold $247 worth of tickets; and fourth was Halle Roach, Peppy Circle 4-H Club, sold $200 worth of tickets. Each received cash prizes for their efforts.
