The Louisiana Elkettes met Tuesday evening to finalize plans for the Annual Good Friday Fish Fry that is being held at the lodge March 29 beginning at 11 a.m.
The ladies of Elks Lodge 791 have been serving up catfish and buffalo fish sides for several years as a fundraiser for projects and programs they do locally, including but not limited to high school scholarships and youth hunter safety courses.
Tickets for the dinner are still only $8 and include slaw and baked beans. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from any Elk or Elkette member.
They will be available at the door as well. Dinners will be served from 11 a.m. until sold out. Dine in is of course available but delivery is too.
“Many businesses call orders in for delivery and we really appreciate that support” remarked Jan Edwards, club secretary.
