Chalk up another athletic milestone for the Gschwender family of Pike County.
Louisiana High School 1996 graduate Scott Gschwender is now a football and track coach for the storied Jefferson City High School Jays programs.
He and his fellow coaches were recently at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in Springfield, where the mid-Missouri school’s entire track and field program was inducted.
“It was the first time an entire high school program was inducted,” said Gschwender from his capital-area home on Saturday, March 2. “There had been teams before, so this was a pretty big deal.”
