
The Bullpup Booster Club will be holding its fourth annual Carnival/Chili Supper on Friday, March 1 at the Louisiana Middle School.
Chili will be served in the middle school cafeteria from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. or as long as supplies last. Chili will also be available for carry out as well.
Menu items will include chili, hot dogs, chips, drinks and dessert. Chili dinners can also be purchased for $5. Chili dinners can be bought ahead of time by contacting a Bullpup Booster Club member or the elementary school.
Large containers of chili will be sold for $10 the night of the supper. Please bring your own container.
The carnival will be in the middle school gym from 5 to 8 p.m. Many fun carnival booths are planned including a duck pond, cake walk, plinko, pie throwing, jail, balloon dart throw, just dance and many, many more.
Tickets for the carnival will cost 25 cents the night of the carnival. Tickets will be sold prior to the carnival for 5 for $1. Prizes at the carnival booths will be Bullpup Bucks.
These Bullpup Bucks will then be traded in at the prize booth for fun and exciting prizes like skull rings, inflatable mohawks and LED mouthpieces, devil horns and spinners.
A gift basket raffle will also be held that night. Each grade level at the Louisiana Elementary School as well as the special E\education department, specials teachers, elementary staff and kitchen and the after school YMCA program have each donated a themed basket.
Baskets included are “Pot O’Gold (lottery tickets), “Grillin’ and Chillin” (barbecue items), “River Fun,” “Make a Splash,” “Family Game Night,” “Scrapbooking,” “St. Louis Cardinals,” “Pike County Fair” and “Couch Potato”. Raffle tickets will cost $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing will take place at 7:45 and the winner need not be present to win.
