March Community Calendar

Saturday, March 2:
The Centenary United Methodist Men are cooking and serving pancakes and sausage from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2.  The church is located at 7th and South Carolina in Louisiana. Tickets for the all-you-can-eat breakfast are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under the age of 6. For information call 573-754-4412.

Wednesday, March 6:
Eastern Missouri Health Services, a service of PCMH, will hold a Diabetic Support group meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the PCMH dining room. This meeting is the first Wednesday of every month and is open to the public, free of charge. For more information call 573-754-5531.

Thursday, March 7:
Republicans of Pike County will meet at the Faith Baptist Church in Louisiana at 6:30 p.m. There will be a carry-in soup supper followed by a business meeting.  Plans are being made for the annual Lincoln Day which is now scheduled for April 20.

Monday, March 11:
The Ecumenical Women’s Breakfast group will meet on Monday, March 11 at 8:30 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 7th & Carolina Streets in Louisiana. All women of faith are invited to attend.

Thursday, March 14:
Road Riders for Jesus motorcycle ministry will meet at 6 p.m. at the Super 8 Motel at 1216 E. Champ Clark Drive in Bowling Green. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. RRJ is a nondenominational organization. Visitors welcome.

Saturday, March 23:
Writers for Christ of Pike County will meet from 5-7 p.m. at the Morning Star Fellowship, 15855 Highway 61 in Bowling Green. Meetings are held the last Saturday of each month. For more information contact Carrie Mitchell at 573-795-1921.

Thursday, March 28:
Clarksville Garden Club will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. at Clarksville Christian Church, 500 S. 2nd St., Clarksville. Program is mushroom hunting by John Crisan. For further information, call 573-242-3788.
