Kiss a bulldog at LHS

The Rotary Interact club hosted an assembly at Louisiana High School on Friday Feb. 15.
The assembly represented the culmination of a three-week long fundraiser resulting in a staff member and two students kissing a bulldog for charity.
For the past few weeks students and community members have voted for the staff member that they would like to see kiss a bulldog for charity.
Votes were cast by placing money into jars labeled with the staff members’ names.  Dr. James Ellis was the hands down winner raising over $70 by himself!
Interact members Kelsey Henderson and Stephanie Crawford won the teacher’s choice contest, raising $26 each to tie for the event.
The contest raised $230 for the Interact Club, which plans to use the money to set up a community garden.
