The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a winter storm warning for Pike County, Mo. and Pike County, Ill., from 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 26.
The storm is expected to begin with rain, sleet and freezing drizzle with wind gusts up to 30 mph, causing hazardous driving conditions.
That precipitation is expected to turn into snow before midnight, with two to six inches expected before the storm tapers off Tuesday afternoon.
