Centenary UMC to hold special Bible study

The public is invited to attend a special series of bible study classes for the Lenten season being offered at Centenary United Methodist Church at 7th & South Carolina streets.
Classes will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the church annex. The series is titled “Longing to Belong” and it explores the importance of community in the Christian faith, using fire as its central metaphor.
There is no outside reading to this class and it is not necessary to attend every week in order to participate.   It will be taught by Pastor Jeanne Webdell and Centenary member Beth Cook.
Entry to the church’s annex is through the door on South Carolina Street. Options for lunch will be discussed in the class. Please call the church office at 754-4412 for more details and to register if you would like to attend.
