‘Sweet treat’ evening at Centenary UMC

Centenary United Methodist Church, located at 7th and S. Carolina Streets, is hosting a “Sweet Treat Evening” fundraising event, Saturday, Feb. 16.
Guests are invited to attend the “Sweet” part of the event between 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. A selection of decadent desserts, along with coffee and tea will be served in the Fellowship Hall, which will be decorated in a Valentine’s Day theme.
Then at 8 p.m. the “Treat” portion of the evening begins.  Professional singer and entertainer Travis Spratt will perform a selection of gospel and secular songs in the church sanctuary. Spratt grew up in Philadelphia, Mo. He and his family performed as the Spratt Family Gospel Singers for several years in Hannibal. Spratt now performs at the Main Street Music Hall at the Lake of the Ozarks.
