Clopton High student James Paul Coleman has been bound over to Pike County Circuit Court for trial on a charge of making a terrorist threat.
Coleman, 17, was arraigned on the charge on Monday, Feb. 11 and faces a June 6 trial with a May 14 pre-trial conference.
The suspect was bound over after waiving a Wednesday, Feb. 6 evidence hearing to discern if a crime was committed and if there was a likelihood he was involved.
He remains incarcerated at the Pike County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
Coleman was arrested by Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies on Jan. 11 for mortal threats to school officials after an alleged physical altercation with a student.
