Bank of Louisiana was proud to be able to give back to the Louisiana community by purchasing new scoreboards for the Louisiana Middle School gym.
The new scoreboards were unveiled on Monday, Jan. 14, before the seventh and eighth-grade girls game against Clopton.  The new scoreboards, located at both ends of the gym, allow players to easily view the score and time clock while running either direction on the court.
The old scoreboard, which was also dated, was located in the center of the gym causing players to have to turn their heads to the side during the game.
“Part of being a community bank, is giving back to the community, helping to make it a better place to live and work,” said Amber Shafer, Bank of Louisiana president.
“We hope the students and coaching staff are as excited about the new scoreboards as we are and look forward to seeing a lot of Bulldog winning scores up on the boards!”
