The Louisiana High School held its annual Fine Arts night with a band concert and an art show on May 13, with art judged by John Stoeckley.
The best of show went to Amber Elliott. In the pastel category Haley Hepler came in first, Chase Hepler came in second, and Kelly Smith was third. The honorable mentions were Katie Blackwell, Madison Dolbeare and Marlee Grogan.
In the color pencil category Amber Elliott came in first, Allison Lawson came in second and Savanna Burnett came in third. The honorable mentions were Marlee Grogan, Ronald McKenzie and Chase Hepler.
In the pencil category, Madison Dolbeare came in first, Cole Turner came in second and Haley Atteberry came in third. The honorable mentions were Amber Elliott, Haley Hepler, Hermila Lopez, Emily Francis and Chase Hepler.
In the paint category Haley Hepler came in first, Allison Lawson came in second and Ethan Helkey came in third. The honorable mentions were Savanna Burnett, Emily Love and Allison Lawson.
In the mixed media category, first was Ethan Helkey, second was Brycen Cropp and third was Amber Elliott. The honorable mention was Shelby Renner.
In the sculpture category Emily Francis came in first, Hermila Lopez and Sam Renner came in second and Brooke Baker came in third. The honorable mention was Emily Francis.
In the ink, printmaking and scratchboard category, Ethan Helkey came in first, Kelly Smith came in second and Sam Renner came in third. The honorable mentions were Allison Lawson, Haley Hepler, Shelby Renner and Cole Turner.
Every student who took an art class had at least one work in the show. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to all the students who shared their art with the community!
