FCA joins list of Louisiana High School clubs

Louisiana High School recently created a new club called FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Head softball coach Bill Capps is in charge of the club. FCA was founded in Pittsburg in 1954 and many chapters are found throughout the United States today.
FCA was created here at LHS so athletes could strengthen their relationships with Jesus and fellowship with other Christians at school. FCA provides training and resources for sponsors and officers in order to facilitate these goals.
FCA started meetings in January and has had several group meetings since. Mr. Capps is planning to take the group to FCA night at Busch Stadium to the Cardinals game on April 25. Also several members are going to be attending leadership and athletic camps this summer.
