Korte obtains occupational hearing conservationist certificate
Pike County Memorial Hospital recently announced Vickie Korte, RN occupational health nurse, obtained a certified occupational hearing conservationist certificate.
Korte recently attended a 20-hour course in occupational hearing conservation with the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). She has joined more than 21,000 COHC throughout the word who are knowledgeable about best practices in hearing conservation.
PCMH offers a wide range of services to preserve employee safety and promote occupational health. These services include drug testing, alcohol testing, pre-employment physicals, respirator fit testing, audiometry, spirometry and immunizations.
